The Milwaukee Women’s Post consists of Women Veterans from WWII to present. We have served in traditional and non—traditional duties. Our current membership of 70+ live all over the world. We have a few veterans who still serve in the Guard, Reserves and Active Duty. Membership comes from all branches of the service. |

We had the honor of having Portia Young, newscaster of Channel 12 WISN Milwauke,
feature our Post on the day we formed an Auxiliary Unit. Post 448 is the first all
Women’s Post that also has a Ladies Auxiliary Unit. The story aired on Sunday,
May 27, 2007 during the 10:00 pm news.
